The Role

As a Senior Startup Consultant, you will lead the charge in developing and nurturing a pipeline of innovative startups in the dynamic region with a focus on Cork and Kerry. Reporting directly to the Cork based, CEO. Your responsibilities will encompass shaping early-stage startup propositions, collaborating with founding teams to build robust business and financial plans, developing funding strategies and exploring market opportunities. Your financial acumen will be instrumental in creating robust financial models and projections that withstand scrutiny from investors, partners, and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop early-stage startup propositions.
• Collaborate with founding teams to start, grow & scale businesses.
• Explore and develop market opportunities for clients.
• Evaluation of business models for enhanced effectiveness.
• Crafting funding strategies and defining key milestones.
• Support in developing and delivering impactful investor pitches.
• Play a crucial role in securing financing for ventures.
• Manage a pipeline of early-stage startups.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem.

1. Proven Startup Expertise: A track record within the startup ecosystem. Strong assessment skills and a keen understanding of the key components of a successful startup.
2. Sales & Go to Market: Specific expertise in developing proven sales strategies and Go-to-Market strategies for early stage startups.
3. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Passion for innovation and a genuine interest in the startup landscape.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
5. Adaptability and Agility: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your Contribution:

You will be an integral part of our wider team delivering startup support services in Cork and Kerry. Your contributions will extend beyond regional boundaries, actively participating in events and initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and expertise of our client entrepreneurs. This includes fostering connections with both local and international networks.
