Our History and Background

AxisBIC was formed in 1988 with the support of the European Commission, Cork Chamber of Commerce and the public sector (local authority, statutory agencies and University/Colleges).

AxisBIC is dedicated to affirming the viability of ideas and offering comprehensive support to entrepreneurs on their journey to success. Each business concept undergoes meticulous examination to ensure its robustness.

Any identified gaps are strengthened through the expertise of our dedicated team, supporting entrepreneurs in building a foundation for sustainable success.

AxisBIC was licensed by the Commission as an EC-BIC in 1994 and has been regularly audited on behalf of the Commission and the CSF for Ireland. AxisBIC is part of a network of 150+ BICs throughout Europe, The European Business & Innovation Centre Network (EBN).
