MARKETING EXECUTIVE

We are seeking a creative, and ambitious Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team. We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker, highly organised and can work well as part of a team and under their own initiative. Main Duties

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote AxisBIC events and offerings to the market, including:
  • Content marketing (e.g. blog posts, articles, infographics, videos)
  • Social media marketing
  • Email marketing & Newsletters
  • Press Releases
• Assist in the design, organisation and delivery of events including workshops, conferences, sponsorships, training and joint initiatives with industry partners
• Manage the AxisBIC website and associated websites and keep then up to date with relevant content.
• Develop copy, write creative briefs, and manage creative development of digital marketing content assets, including web, social media, email, and digital advertising.
• Standardise our marketing and communications messaging at a number of levels
• Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and website activity
• Assist with the development and delivery of presentations and workshops.
• Helping create impactful communications and external branding campaigns.
• Management of events such as attendee lists, invitations, speakers, event registration, equipment, printed collateral and promotional items and post-event feedback
• Write and publish monthly newsletters.
• Collaborate as part of the team on a number of working groups.

Qualifications

• 3^rd Level Business Qualification in a Business or Marketing discipline

Skills Required

• 1-3 years marketing experience (including copywriting, campaign management, digital marketing, communications )
• Proven communication, time management and organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Business and Marketing experience preferred
• Content Management experience for Websites desirable
• Experience in Web/Graphic Design desirable (i.e. Canva)
• Creative and strong on idea generation capability
• An enthusiastic, creative and proactive team player
• Excellent communication and writing skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously, multitasking and meeting deadlines
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Team player with a “can do” attitude.

Work Location:

The core work location will be the National Software Centre (NSC) Mahon, Cork City, with a blend of working from home.
