The Venture Academy™ is AxisBIC’s flagship high growth startup pitching event, where some of Ireland’s most promising emerging companies pitch for investment in front of a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders.
Each year, eight high-growth startups are selected to pitch their business, tell their story, and receive direct feedback from an audience of active investors.
Since its launch, the Venture Academy™ has become a recognised platform for connecting investment-ready startups with Ireland’s early-stage investor community.
What Is the Venture Academy™?
The Venture Academy™ is not just a pitch competition — it’s a hands-on investment readiness experience.
In the weeks leading up to the event, selected founders take part in one-to-one mentoring and group workshops with experienced investors, coaches, and AxisBIC advisors. They refine their investor presentations, gain valuable insights into what investors look for, and learn how to communicate traction, market opportunity, and scale potential.
At the event itself, founders pitch live to an audience of angel investors, venture funds, and industry experts, followed by networking and investor-led Q&A sessions.
